Year 9
In Physical Education and Health, the major focus is on participation and enjoyment in a variety of practical contexts to develop physical and interpersonal skills, alongside problem solving and decision making to enhance lifelong well-being. You will have three Physical Education lessons a week and a Health unit each term.
Physical Education Topics
We explore a range of movement related topics including fitness, skill building and leadership in sport, international games, gymnastics, and aquatics. Our aim is to motivate students to become guardians of their wellbeing and to use the challenges and opportunities they have experienced to positively interact with others and society.
