Level 1

The Level 1 literacy and numeracy requirements must be met to achieve NCEA Level 1, 2 and 3.

Level 1 - Numeracy requirement

Minimum of 10 credits through:

• Achievement standards - specified assessment standards available through a range of subjects but mostly Mathematics - (minimum total of 10 credits)

• Three numeracy standards
