DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

Description

The focus in Year 10 is on computational thinking and developing digital outcomes.  We look at a number of different computer applications and develop a wide variety of skills.

The course will be designed to include a variety of topics from the following:

  • Website design using HTML

  • Developing design skills and using media creation software to produce interesting and professional media outcomes

  • Basic programming skills using a range of programming languages and robotics

  • You will have a choice from a range of projects, including making garments to fit yourself, storage solutions, or a charitable project.  You will also create a kit in which to keep your equipment for the semester

  • Use the technological process to create a textile item with practical use
