Description

The focus in Year 11 is on basic programming, developing media outcomes and human computer interaction.  This is a broad and interesting course which allows you to recognise where your skills and interests are.  This course includes:

• Programming a game using basic programming languages

• Using iterative design methods to develop digital outcomes

• Exploring a variety of digital media tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to create digital outcomes

• Understanding the interfaces that allow humans to interact with computers

• You will create two textiles items. One to donate to a charity and one for yourself.

• You will learn to go through the technological process of designing; adapting a pattern; creating a construction plan to follow; making mock-ups while learning techniques and processes then constructing a garment
