TE AO HAKA

Description
You will gain skills in the following areas
Demonstrate an understanding of elements of Te Ao Haka, ie; wiri, pūkana, rere (of poi), takahi, tūwaewae, māhinga rakau, formations.
Perform an item from a Te Ao Haka discipline, disciplines include, mōteatea, waiata-ā-ringa, haka/ haka wahine, poi, whakaeke, whakawātea.
Describe categories within a Te Ao Haka discipline. Categories include for waiata-ā-ringa are for example, aroha, poroporoaki, for mōteatea they are; aroha, tangi and pao to name a few.
Demonstrate an understanding of elements within a Te Ao Haka performance.
Prerequisites
Experience in Kapa Haka OR two years in Wairua Puhou
